Dan Bookbinder is a Writer and Editor living in South Florida.
As an undergraduate, Dan booked and produced concerts for such artists as Ludacris, They Might Be Giants and Dave Attell. These experiences inspired his one-man show, “I’m an F-ing Professional.” He also co-wrote and produced, “Wasteland,” winner of Best Student Feature at the New York International Film and Video Festival.
Dan moved on to television production, working for Comedy Central, VH1, PBS, A&E, History, Lifetime, DramaFever, and the Youth Olympic Games.
A regular in the New York comedy scene, Dan was a member of house teams at the Peoples Improv Theater, the Magnet Theater, and the Upright Citizens Brigade. He appeared onstage in the shows “People Party,” “Cafe Verge,” “The Holiday Spectacular,” “One Night Stand,” and "The Improvised Documentary" and created the original shows, “Library of Horror,” “We Need to Talk,” and “PLEASE. Goes to Prom.”
His TV credits include MTV, the NFL Network, Nintendo Week, and The Colbert Report.
He was a contributing writer for Toyfare: The Toy Magazine, Funny or Die, and LandlineTV.
His writing has appeared in Hard Times, McSweeney’s, Clean Plates, Zenescope Entertainment, and occasionally on danbookbinder.com.
